You’re supposed to down a bunch of protein during spregnancy, and I find that difficult to do. Maybe you too have such troubles. Well, here’s something I’ve been digging: whey protein smoothies. There is no specific recipe, so make it to taste. Combine in a blender or your Magic Bullet:
- some amount of sherbet (I like lime), icecream, or yogurt
- juice if it needs to be liquidier
- a scoop of whey protein powder
- fruit if you’ve got some

Don't know about the whole "whey protein" thing...but the Magic Bullet rocks!!! We've got one, too. :) Glad to know we aren't the only people in the united states who sometimes succumb to cheesy, hour-long tv ads...
My sister sent me the magic bullet.... she was addicted to smoothies when she was pregnant and thought I should be too ( addicted to smoothies, not pregnant).
Ya, we got the Magic Bullet from Jason's sister, and we love it. We have lived in the type of places for the last several years where a blender took up too much space. That little thing though is so versatile, and quite simple to use and clean.
