I'm getting my hair chopped off.
Big day! I am swinging back and forth between various emotions, but I know it is high time. I have been growing this lock of curls out for eight loooong years. In fact, the years were much longer than my slow-growing hair ever was, and I'm thick of it. Just thick of it.
If anybody happens by this blog before 11 a.m. Montana time, let me know what you think of these styles. Of course, I am drawn to the straight hair, though I have curly. But still, if it's short, I may take the time to straighten it once in a blue moon. Also, I have chosen all blondies, though I am brown as the barren earth. Shoot. Additionally, I have a massive cowlick across my entire forehead, rendering banks impossible unless I force them down with the blowdryer. And I have chosen three girls clad in heavy bangs.
Dangit.
Bangit.
Still, despite these odds, I shall move forward with my hopes of a cute hair do!

Okay, after talking to you, I feel much less stressed about this decision.
I'm sure it will look adorable!
Just... don't go platinum. :)
My sister just called in a panic about this, and I'm really second-guessing things. She's only concerned because I've regretted cutting my hair short each time I've done it. Hmm.
I decided to keep my appointment, but I may have her just spice up my long do.
I don't know though. I am excited about short. I guess we'll see.
Yikes. That was also my first thought, like Rachel's. But, do it...go for it!!! The first pic looks kind of boyish I think. Maybe start shoulder lengthish and then you can always go shorter....I can't wait to see!!! Ooooohhh, you are sooo going to be such a hip mama!!
I'm holding my breath for the results.
I'm not so crazy about short hair and I love, love, love long hair so when someone that has hair like yours makes this decision it makes me worry because I don't want to have to say I don't like it and now I'm regretting typing this because I feel like I will now have to come back and say something...oh geeez...
...
not that my opinion makes one bit of difference, but you did put it out there, right?
If you go short be sure to donate your hair to "Locks of Love"!
Can't wait to see pics!
Rach - I do not know this phrase, "don't go platinum." But I'm pretty sure I didn't.
Shana - yes, that was my thought. I can always go shorter. Some people can always go longer, but not me, at least not in a reasonable amount of time.
"Me" - Ha ha. Yes, I did ask for opinions! It was at the last minute, so I didn't get most of the advice until too late. :) But I'm happy with the results...that post is coming in a couple of minutes.
Karissa - I did donate! That was cool.
