This is probably like me plucking the banjo and singing "Yellow Rose of Texas" at age 6. Fortunately, we didn't have a video camera! (Are you having Zoralee watch this over and over so she memorizes it and learns this skill too?)
I was giggling too much to care what Zoralee thought of this one, Mom. What I thought better of that she could learn is yodeling. That'd be good and random.
And I'd pay, I don't know, lots of money to see you on video as a 6 year old, especially performing anything at all.
Well, Rachel, I was wondering why they cut out the girl that started off in the picture playing guitar. She was cute too. Come on.
Yes, eery is a good word for it. Like, she would be the little gal in a horror film that, out of no where, weilds a giant chain-saw and fires it up, laughing all the while, and walking towards the camera....
Is it that bad, folks? Gosh, I can't watch it without laughing out loud. I am entranced by the shape of this girl's lips while she's singing. She makes them into an oval that is, I dunno, so classic for the time period. That, and her phrasing. All as such a youngster! It really cracks me up. She'd be much too polite and obedient to turn on you with a chainsaw, I think.
Lori, it's the polite people that totally freak out and weild chainsaws, see. Duh! That's what would make it such a great horror film. Here she is, singing diligently and making little "o" shapes with her mouth, until one day, she's had enough of it.
But really, yes, I suppose that on SOME innocent level (considering the time period) it is hilarious.

EGAD.
I'd like to hear what she sounds like without backup, I would.

Maybe I've taken it too far.
Just awful - worst thing I have seen today . . . . jeepers . . . .
Well, Rachel, you may have taken it ever so slightly too far, but not much! :)

Have you seen SNL's sketch with Kristin Wig on the Lawrence Welk Show? Oh man, if not you must because this girl is the child version.

Wow.
I didn't understand a single word she sang, except for "I."
Old and inaudible... and southern=Creepy.
That is my professional and personal opinion.
