growing stuff anyway (winter be darned)

For once, the fact that I check your blog 45 times a day pays off.

No guilt trips here, no siree.

By the way, that top right photo of Ziah? It looks like there's an ocean outside the window. You don't *really* live in North Dakota, do you?

Just about the time that I give up on looking to see if you've posted anything, I discover that I'm 5 days late!! Do you provide notifications? :)

I love the pictures!

Oh, you know what I just thought of? Mother Teresa (because of the title of this post). Here's some things she apparently said.

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

I love that Mother Teresa quote, Tamie! I've got the whole line up in a book, and yes, it really resonates with me. So much of what we do sometimes apparently has no bearing on the world, but there is a beauty in the very act of doing. We, at least, are shaped.
