You're welcome. But, honestly I don't get it. Like is the advice the janitor gave the moral of the story? Because, if it is, its pretty shitty advice. Yes, you can close your eyes and lose sight of that little black dot causing you so much anguish; but, at the same time you lose sight of all of those paintings that inspire positive feelings... I guess its kind of a catch 22.

Or, maybe the janitor was helping the observer to break out of his reaction and stop taking the little black dot so seriously. Ironically, once he broke free, he went outside and saw the moon, and was tied to the art in a new way.
